Konoba Stari Mlin Kukljica

We went for lunch. The restaurant welcomes dogs, the food was amazing, homemade olive oil, great staff, local music (Oliver and similar) and fast service. I strongly recommend the fish soup and "Bodulaki užitak". Everything was fresh, clean and well presented. The wine was great. My wife says the fish is one of the best she's ever had, because of the way it was grilled. You can pay by card if anyone is interested.

Located in the harbour of Kukljica, this is an excellent choice for a good dinner with a sea view. Even off-season you get fresh fish. We had soups, Dalmatian starters, fresh sea bass and squid risotto. Everything was of excellent quality, very tasty and freshly prepared. Prices are reasonable and portions are enormous. The service was very friendly – a clear recommendation if you pass through or stay here.

We visited Konoba Stari Mlin in Kukljica and our experience was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and pleasant atmosphere. As a starter we enjoyed a juicy burger, and later we treated ourselves to pljukanci with prawns and grouper pâté. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked. All in all, Stari Mlin is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to enjoy excellent food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. I warmly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly return.

Absolutely phenomenal culinary experience. Octopus salad, seafood pasta and grilled squid – flawless, and the taste was professionally tuned. Everything outside the kitchen was excellent too. When you're in Kukljica and want seafood, you must visit Konoba Stari Mlin. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable, especially compared to the quality!

We've been coming for years and always have great experiences with both the food and the staff. All praise... The service is still at a high level. Always the same staff, which says enough...

You really eat well in Kukljica... Stari Mlin is an excellent konoba with top-class service and food. A wide selection of meat and fish dishes. Our 5-year-old tried fried squid for the first time and was thrilled. Truly the best fried squid we've ever tried. A big plus is that they accommodate requests to change side dishes at no extra charge. This year we've dined here twice and we give all our recommendations to Stari Mlin.

We had lunch here yesterday and were delighted with the food, service and prices. The portions were generous, the fried squid PERFECT, and the pljukanci with truffles fantastic. The service was fast and unobtrusive, but whenever we needed anything they were right there – which I appreciate most. I will definitely visit again.

A konoba located right in the centre, with a wonderful view of the sea and surroundings. Staff professional, friendly and attentive at all times. Home-cooked food worthy of every praise, without fault. Prices are affordable, and with such excellent service and delicious food you certainly won't regret visiting Stari Mlin. See you again.
